How do you think they ended up look alike. I tried to change their eye style but since I am still struggling with the pen the details did not come out as I like.Their face shape is also different I am still inconsistent at this point, but I am trying to make them not to look like each other.Except probably the school uniform
It usually happens when drawing based on a popular style like manga. The ink looks good, but in a drawing that looks rather dull it loses some of the spirit.
I am sorry to put it like this, but I find no other way to express it. The good thing is that variations on features are not hard to try, and usually leads to richer pictures, and inking looks better in them.
I think with more practice I hope to transcribe what is in my mind better in paper.
