I am studying screentoning lately and rely on free available tones. Until I realized they are to big, so I will create mine, then I learn this method, i want to share it to anyone who will find it helpful

I wan't to share this method on creating screentones using GIMP and use it later.
I learned this a few days ago that I learn a few days ago.

This is a method derived from GIMP halftoning tutorial I read sometime ago, I don't know the authors name but big thanks to him.

With the Newsprint Filter you can create screentones with Diamond, Dot and line patterns (more like speedlines), YOu can use Gradient with it.

PS: Before starting after filling it with foreground color, desaturate it, menu->color->desaturate->lighten, to prevent color speckles.
